You Never Get a Second Chance to Make a First Impression! Here's How Boost Your Homes Curb Appeal!

Make your front door pop:

The front door is one of the first things people notice when they see your home. If you have guests or potential buyers, this will be one of the first impressions of your home. You can install a new stylish door. Or you can paint your existing one and change up the hardware. We recommend with going neutral or warm shades to add a welcoming touch.

Take care of the lawn:

Lawn care is a big part of curb appeal. Regular lawn maintenance such as grass cutting, weed trimming, and raking the leaves are crucial to keeping your lawn appealing. Make sure to water your grass in the hotter months, this will prevent it from drying out and brown spots. If you keep on top of it, it won’t be an overwhelming project!

Add some front entry decor:

A great way to add some flair to your entry is to add some decor. Whether it is adding a stylish bistro set, florals, a cute front mat or decorative items. You can also try adding a wreath, those aren’t only for Christmas! You can find some for year round that will add some elegance.

Do some gardening & add some plants:

Adding some florals and greenery can go a long way! Simply adding some flowers & plants to your garden with freshen up your outdoor space. You can also add some potted plants or hanging baskets that will add some colour and liven up your exterior. Use plants to accentuate and frame key visual points, like windows and entryways. Even just one plant arrangement can significantly add to your homes exterior appearance.

Do some cleaning:

Sometimes what dampers our outdoor look is not keeping up with outdoor cleaning. Use a hose or power washer to clean the front of the house. You can remove the dirt and buildup by simply spraying down the garage door, window frames, front door and siding. Remove and tidy any items like toys and outdoor equipment. This will go a long way for your front of home appeal.

Upgrade the outdoor lighting:

You can maximize your curb appeal with simple changes. Especially with outdoor lighting. Upgrading the outdoor light fixtures can modernize and improve the entire look of your home. You can also add some string lights, or solar lights up the walk way. This will be inviting to guests and brighten up the home when it’s dark out.

Fix up the small stuff:

The small details can go unnoticed when we walk by day in and day out. However, those tiny flaws can stand out against our picturesque front exterior. Touching up any chipped paint for a clean fresh look will make a world of difference. If you have minor things, this can be a quick fix to add to your curb appeal.

Repair the walkway and driveway:

You might be so accustomed to the cracks and potholes in your driveway that you don’t even see them, but guests and potential buyers definitely will. Make any necessary repairs and get ready to see a major difference. Consider investing in re-doing the driveway with replacing the asphalt or adding in a new walkway. This will make your home look cared for and improve the look of your home.
