Social distancing is the practice of maintaining a greater than usual physical distance between yourself and other people by withdrawing from certain activities. Dealing with social distancing can be difficult. Humans are sociable beings and we thrive in community. Therefore, it’s natural for us to experience things like loneliness and low mood when we’re disconnected from others. Whatever you’re feeling during this time, know that your experience is valid and that it is essential to take care of your mental health and well-being to eliminate any added stress.
