Janet Cann Pottery

Picture yourself curled up on a cold Sunday afternoon accompanied with your favourite read and a hot cocoa in one of Janet Cann’s Pottery masterpieces! Her work includes platters, mugs and bowls with her signature birch tree design. Janet has used an etching technique called Scraffito a process of painting and etching a design on greenware, or raw clay. By applying a clear glaze and wax over the birch tree design before the glaze stage which results in a whimsical folkart feel.
